The Ceylon University

Dramatic Society

Founded in 1922

The Ceylon University Dramatic Society also known as DRAMSOC, is one of the oldest societies of the University of Peradeniya. Heralding from a university that uplifts the arts' appraisal in its' traditions, our prime aim is to provide a platform to showcase the talents on drama and theatre of fellow undergraduates while promoting inter-faculty cordiality.

“I’d better do it while I can, for the number of those who can write about what became of DRAMSOC will surely diminish very fast.”

Professor E. F. C. Ludowyk
